Pleasant surprises at Telangana police officers conference

​Hyderabad: The Telangana police officers conference held at HICC on Friday was filled with surprising gestures. The conference was held to discuss the various problems being faced by the personnel and the challenges ahead.

Generally, guests are welcomed onto the dais with flower bouquets by members. But at the police officers conference, the chief guest of the occasion, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was pleasantly surprised to receive a bouquet from a police canine.

The trained canine held with his teeth a beautiful flower bouquet made with bamboo and handed it to the Chief Minister.

Later, the canine squad saluted him as a mark of respect and the Chief Minister reciprocated.Another interesting thing at the conference was setting up of a complaint box.

Police officers were asked to write their problems, which they cannot speak out openly, which would be taken care of in due course of time.

It was not immediately known if any officer of the ‘disciplined force’ dropped any complaint or representation in the complaint box.
