Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar attributed the Nalgonda market attack incident as the handiwork of Congress leaders. Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature party office here on Friday, Prabhakar accused Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for enacting a drama for losing public faith. He alleged that the incident is known to everybody as the conspiracy hatched by Venkat Reddy.

He also took serious exception to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N Utham Kumar Reddy and party leader K Jana Reddy, Shabbir Ali and others for extending blind support to Venkat Reddy without knowing the facts. He said that Venkat Reddy pressed his henchmen in teams to vandalise the market yard which is not right.

The TRS leader also alleged that Venkat Reddy failed to keep the promise of building the market yard on being voted twice. He said that apart from bringing bad name to the Congress, Venkat Reddy is trying to malign the image of the State government when they could start the works of the market yard in Nalgonda.

The TRS MLC accused that this is unbecoming for the Congress leaders who should maintain decency and decorum in the politics. He ridiculed that the Congress top brass is coming in the way of the irrigation projects only to dupe and confuse people.

The government is firm on completion of the projects despite hurdles the being created, he said and added that the Congress is yet to open its eyes despite court strictures. TRS MLC further said the completion of the projects on time will sound a death knell to their future as the congress leaders are making a hue and cry and taking to streets to target the government.
