​Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Schools Parents Association (HSPA) demanded government to introduce new law to regulate school fees. The HSPA said that it would not give up until the government brings in new law. HSPA members conducted a sticker campaign at Panjagutta on Saturday.

Asking the government to introduce new laws to regulate school fees, stickers were pasted on the vehicles like cars, buses, autos. Slogans like “CM sir please regulate school fees.” and “CM sir Please stop the school fee loot” were printed on the stickers.

Hirdesh Gupta secretary of HSPA said, “ We find it difficult to understand how and why the CM is so silent on this important issue.'' We see how long CM will be silent after seeing this stickers behind the vehicles, said Pavan Kumar Reddy the lead organiser for the campaign.

“HSPA was in talks with Education Minister, Principal Secretary, Commissioner and we didn't get chance to speak with them. We tried hard to speak with the CM but we did not get a chance to meet him. Hope we may get response from him if he notices the stickers on the vehicles.

In Telangana, there are 35 lakh parents whose kids are going to private schools. Even the private school fee regulation mentioned in the TRS manifesto. It had been two years nothing has changed.We hope the Chief Minister will introduce the fee regulation act ,” said Aravinda Jata executive, member of HSPA.
