Hanamkonda: Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu has stressed on the need for speedy justice to the victims in Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes atrocities cases.Delivering a keynote address at ‘SC & ST (POA) Act – 2015’ seminar organised by the Deputy Director of Prosecution here on Saturday, he said the onus is on the police and prosecution to ensure speedy disposal of the cases to create confidence among the complainants. He pointed out the importance of cohesive effort in ensuring speedy justice to the aggrieved.
Speaking at the occasion, public prosecutor M Satyanrayana discussed at length about the issues faced by the police and prosecution.
