Indian Police Medal for Hanamkonda ACP Katakam Muralidhar
Hanamkonda ACP Katakam Muralidhar has been awarded the Indian Police Medal for his excellent performance in counter-intelligence wing. DGP Anurag Sharma gave away the Certificate of Appreciation signed by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee to Muralidhar in Hyderabad on Saturday. He will receive the Police Medal from the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Independence Day.
Hanamkonda: Hanamkonda ACP Katakam Muralidhar has been awarded the Indian Police Medal for his excellent performance in counter-intelligence wing. Muralidhar who hails from Karimnagar joined the Police Department in 1989 as a sub-inspector. He was elevated to the post of ACB Special Branch Inspector in 2000. Later, he got promoted as the counter intelligence DSP and worked in Mulug.
Muralidhar has so far received 200-odd department awards. Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu commended Muralidhar on getting police medal.
