Software engineer jumps to death over love failure in Hyderabad

A software engineer has committed suicide in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on Monday night.

The deceased, identified as Jagadish worked in a private company and taken the extreme step after a woman rejected his love proposal.

It is learnt that Jagadish was friends with a woman in the same vicinity as his, at Addagutta. Jagadish had approached her and expressed his love towards her but was rejected as the woman informed him that she was in love with someone else.

However, Jagadish once again broached the subject on Monday night and called her, asking for acceptance of his love. On being rejected again, Jagadish jumped off from the five-storey building while talking over the phone. He immediately succumbed to death.
