KCR to appoint IPS officers as heads of key departments to curb corruption

The Telangana government is all set to take serious measures to curb corruption with more employees getting involved in corruption activities. Hence, they have decided to appoint IPS officers as the heads of Commercial Taxes, Transport and Registration departments.

The decision was taken by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who is of the view that the clean image of the Telangana government is being affected due to corruption.

With IPS officer C V Anand's appointment as the Commissioner of Civil Supplies department, IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar's results in social welfare schools' proving to be a success, the decision to appoint more IPS officers in these departments was taken.
