It showed their total indifference towards the issue of environmental pollution, he added.

Participating as a chief guest at a round table held on “Problem of industrial effluents and solutions” at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram here on Monday, he made a power-point presentation to highlight the high degree of pollution being caused through the discharge of industrial waste.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Reddy said that they have complained to officials about the pollution caused by the effluents discharged from the industries in Patancheru and Jeedimetla areas many times.
