Vice Chairman of Mission Bhagiratha's flagship program, Vemula Prashanth who is busy with his France tour addressed the idea of the program saying that it is being implemented in Telangana to provide safe water to every household in villages.

At a meeting with officials of Bordex Metropolitan in France, Vemula Prashanth said that Telangana is the first state to identify safe water as the fundamental right of people and credited Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the scheme.

Explaining about the design, plan and target of the scheme, the Vice Chairman said that they are offering broad band internet services simultaneously apart from overcoming the persistent issue of people travelling long distances to acquire drinking water.

He elaborated that the project that 90 percent of the waters will be utilized through gravity and 10 percent of waters allotted for industrial needs. Informing that the project works would be completed by December, Vemula Prashanth said that they are targetting to supply purified drinking water to each house in villages, towns and cities.
