​Hyderabad: Congress leaders led by Former Home Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy on Wednesday visited Miyapur and examined the government lands which were transferred to private persons through dubious transactions. It turned out to be a major scam.
The delegation later met Inspector General of Registration and Stamps Ahmed Nadeem at his office and submitted a memorandum, demanding CBI probe into the scam.
The leaders alleged that the TRS government was trying to water down the issue by just naming a few persons though it was a Rs 10,000 crore scam. They demanded that CBI investigation can only unearth the nexus between the land mafia and the officials, Sabita Indra Reddy said.
