Telangana is all set to launch Medical Devices Park which is an ecosystem for MedTech innovation and manufacturing on June 17.
Telangana is all set to launch Medical Devices Park which is an ecosystem for MedTech innovation and manufacturing on June 17.
The park is to be set up in 250 acres at Sultanpur village, Patancheru mandal in Medak district. IT Minister KT Rama Rao will lay the foundation stone for the Medical Devices Park.
Facilities to support innovation, research and development, and industrial scale manufacturing are included in the park along with education, training, research and incubation facilities.
At present, nearly all the devices are imported affecting the inflation cost of healthcare in India which is the reason behind the launch the medical devices park as making the medical devices locally will reduce the healthcare costs.
