Osmania University officials on Wednesday stated that activities which are not related to academics and research, such as political and public meetings, would not be permitted on the campus and asked the teachers, students and staff of the university to follow it.Â
Hyderabad:Osmania University officials on Wednesday stated that activities which are not related to academics and research, such as political and public meetings, would not be permitted on the campus and asked the teachers, students and staff of the university to follow it.
They said the Osmania University, the premier university, had been established for the purpose of imparting education and conducting research in various disciplines. The primary objective of the university is purely academic and research oriented.
Hence, cooperation of research scholars, students, teaching and non teaching staff is solicited in maintaining the academic environment and peace in the entire university, in the larger interest of student community, the officials added.
