Telangana youth shot in California, family seeks govt help
A 26-year-old man was shot by an unidentified assailant in California on Sunday and suffered injuries.
A 26-year-old man was shot by an unidentified assailant in California on Sunday and suffered injuries.
The victim, Mubeen Ahmed hailing from Sangareddy district had pursued his Masters in US and graduated in February 2015.
He was working in a temporary job at a private store. Mubeen's father Mujeeb Ahmed revealed that his son was shot after a few people of black origin had come into the store but an argument ensued between them resulting in them firing at Mubeen.
He added that Mubeen was rushed to Eden Medical Centre in Castro Valley where he underwent surgery and that the doctors informed that his condition is critical.
Irrigation Minister Harish Rao was approached by the family members on Wednesday seeking their help in visiting US to meet their son.
