Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh on Friday alleged that groupism in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit had reached new high.

In a letter to the State president K Laxman, he said that he had hoped that things would improve after K Laxman took over, but was disappointed that the party continues to ignore him and was also creating hurdles in discharging his responsibilities as an MLA.

He took strong objection to the appointment of his opponents as constituency convenors. He said if the State unit was not happy with him, they could send him out from the party.

He said when G Kishen Reddy was the State president, raw deal was meted to him and even now the situation had not changed.

Raja Singh said that he had explained the situation to the National President Amit Shah during his recent visit.
