4 BC residential schools to start classes soon

​Vikarabad: All necessary arrangements have been made for the inauguration of the four Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Residential Schools for BCs in the district. The schools will be inaugurated by MLAs of the respective areas.

BC Welfare Development Officer C Lakshmi Narayana said there are proposals for setting up each of these schools in a 10-acre campus. “The schools will be run in rented buildings till the completion of construction works.

Classes V, VI and VII are going to commence for the academic year 2017-18. Each school could accommodate 240 students. The medium of instruction will be English. The quality of education in these schools will be on par with corporate schools.
