AP Government had sought service tax exemption for Polavaram Project and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), however, none of the demands were approved.
Telangana govt, on the other hand, had sought for tax reduction on movie tickets and 3D glasses which was approved. Now, the tax on movie tickets costing Rs 100 or less has come down to 18% from 28%.
