Excited over the level of confidence gained after attending the two-day training programme on public speaking on Saturday and Sunday, the 54th batch of Vaktha affirmed that they will become good orators in the days to come. The participants discovered that the body language and voice modulation would make more impact on masses. 

Hyderabad: Excited over the level of confidence gained after attending the two-day training programme on public speaking on Saturday and Sunday, the 54th batch of Vaktha affirmed that they will become good orators in the days to come.

D Balreddy, Director (Training), Kapil Group and lead faculty of the programme, said the public speaking is a skill which can only be sharpened by regular practice. While providing important tips and techniques relating to public speaking, he said that greatest leaders in the world fine-tuned oratory skills and they became outstanding speakers when compared to others.

S Anand Parjanya, faculty on body language, trained the participants on maintaining their posture while delivering a speech and communicating at a public place. K Srikanth, another faculty, explained important techniques of voice modulation, since a good speaker would maintain a high tone while delivering the speech. He made students practise some of the important tips and showed how voice culture and modulation can make a person an effective public speaker.

While providing their feedback, some of the participants described this as a complete transformation in their attitude and body language within two-days of training and asserted that they had learnt to maintain poise as an ‘orator.’ They expressed satisfaction in the way training was conducted and termed this training as a lifetime experience. With burning desire to turn as good orators, they expressed eagerness to grab mikes.

One of the participants, M Srinivas Rao, found the two-day training as an opportunity to identify and overcome the shortcomings to become a good orator. He vowed to practise the tips provided during the training regularly. V Venkateswar Rao from Suryapet described this training as very useful tool not only for budding orators and also experienced public speakers,

towards overcoming their shortcomings, if any. K Vennela, a budding orator, felt confident and elated after attending the training sessions. The training filled her with in a state of high excitement, as the training provided an edge over others.
