Telugu poet, writer, and lyricist C. Narayana Reddy has passed away on 12th June, 2017. Today, the Telangana government has performed his funeral rituals in Jubilee Hills.
A large number of poets, writers, and other ministers have come to pay the last tributes to Dr. C. Narayana Reddy. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has also participated in the funeral service.
KCR said all measures have been taken and gave a befitting tribute to Cinare.Recalling his association with Cinare, the Chief Minister said, "Dr Narayan Reddy was one personality that the Telangana state is proud of. I am conveying my sorrow and pain at the demise of Dr. Narayan Reddy.
He was one literary figure who scaled many heights. There are many writers and poets, but Cinare’s meeting has always been a different one. His words had a glamour and he proved that even poets too have a glamour.
Though he was born in Telangana, the entire Telugu population is proud of him. He was the one and only who taught movements to Rhyme and Alliteration. There is nobody who can compete with him.”Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Telangana Sahitya Academy Chairman Nandini Sidha Reddy and Cultural Affairs Director Mamidi Harikrishna accompanied the CM.
