Officials told to make Haritha Haram a success
District Collector Gaurav Uppal stated that it is the responsibility of the residents in making the Haritha Haram programme a grand success in the district. The district administration on Saturday conducted awareness and preparatory meeting for the village and mandal level officers on Haritha Haram programme at MNR convention hall located at Marriguda by pass road in Nalgonda.
Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal stated that it is the responsibility of the residents in making the Haritha Haram programme a grand success in the district. The district administration on Saturday conducted awareness and preparatory meeting for the village and mandal level officers on Haritha Haram programme at MNR convention hall located at Marriguda by pass road in Nalgonda.
He directed the officials to involve NGOs, SHGs, youth associations and people in making Haritha Haram a big success in the district. He asked the officials to select suitable places in the villages to dig pits for plantation. He advised officials to strengthen the Haritha Haram committees in villages. He advised the officials to maintain perfect coordination in order to supply the sapling from nurseries to villages.
