Online DEECET at Sai Spurthy Institute of Technology
A total of 399 students turned out for the Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (DEECET)-2017 at Sai Spurthy Institute of Technology here on Saturday.
Gangaram (Sathupally): A total of 399 students turned out for the Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (DEECET)-2017 at Sai Spurthy Institute of Technology here on Saturday.
The test was organised by the State government and was conducted online for the first time. Sathupally mandal Tahsildar D Pullaiah, Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) Sri Ramulu were observers for the test. The MEO said students from Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahbubabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts appeared for the exam. The Tahsildar said preference for SGT posts would be given to DEECET candidates.
Speaking on the occasion the college principal, Dr CH Vijay Kumar, said the college management is always ready to conduct such online tests. D Sirisha of Venkatapuram in Khammam district and K Uma of Bangla in Mahbubabad district expressed buzz in taking the online test. They thanked the college management for providing sophisticated computer lab which could accommodate 200 students.
