Cellar digging causes panic, public blame GHMC negligence
Despite several warnings from the GHMC not to undertake cellar digging in the rainy season, the builders are continuously doing so.

Breaking the rules, various builders in Athapur are digging cellars. After few such incidents in Hyderabad coming to light, the GHMC has issued a strict warning.
According to the rules, only 10-15 feet deep is allowed to dig but the builders are digging the cellar as per their convinience trespassing the rules.
A contractor in Athapur dug upto 20 ft and is even continuing further with the help of bombs which in turn is resulting in the cracks of the neighbouring apartment. The people in the apartment are fearing for their life and are not receiving any action from the GHMC officials despite several complaints.
