Inorderto promote tourism in the State, it has been decided to present Telangana State Tourism Awards in various categories on the eve of World Tourism Day on September 27, 2017 with the theme “Sustainable Tourism –a tool for development”.
Hyderabad: Inorderto promote tourism in the State, it has been decided to present Telangana State Tourism Awards in various categories on the eve of World Tourism Day on September 27, 2017 with the theme “Sustainable Tourism –a tool for development”.
Telangana State Tourism Awards are given to all the segments of travel industry recognised either by the Central government or State government, travel agents, tour operators, classified hotels, restaurants and independent hotels etc. who have made outstanding contribution to the growth and glory of the State’s tourism sector.
The following are the various categories: Excellence in Writing / Publication, Best Film on Telangana Tourism / Heritage , Travel Agents / Tour Operators , a) Classified Hotels , b) Best Wayside Amenities / Motel other than Hyderabad , c) Best Haritha Hotel , Best Theme Based Resort , Best Restaurant , Best Tourism Guide , Best Civic Management of a Tourist Destination and Digital Photography Contest.
