KTR attends 17th GST Council meet in Delhi

With the 17th GST Council Meeting being held in Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi all the Finance Ministers of the states along with the Central Finance Minister Arun Jaitley attended the meet.

Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender who is busy with his son's marriage was not able to attend instead IT Minister KT Rama Rao took his place at the meeting.
Several discussions took place over the taxes on lotteries and the rules to be formed on electronic weigh bills in the meeting. KTR is planning take up the request for exemption of taxes on drinking and irrigation waters along with reduction in taxes on hand woven clothes.
