Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday gave his consent to the creation of 2,506 jobs in the Revenue Department.

Additional staff will be appointed in Chief Commissioner Land Administration (CCLA), Stamps and Land Registration and Revenue Department. The ChiefMinister directed Chief Secretary SP Singh to begin the process of recruitment process immediately.

An official release from Chief Minister’s Office said a total of 21 Junior Assistants in CCLA office, either Deputy Collectors,38 Deputy Tahsildars , 700 Junior Assistants and Typists (400), 700 VROs, 1,000 VRAs, 100 Deputy 50 Surveyors and Computer Draftsmen, seven District Registrars, 22 Sub Registrars, 50 Junior Assistants Officers in Registration offices, and 110 Surveyors would be filled through direct recruitment. Telangana State Public Service Commission would take up the recruitment process.
