Farmer commits suicide in Telangana

A farmer committed suicide in Bhadradri Kothagudem district after being humiliated by a fertiliser dealer.

The farmer, Mancha had approached the fertiliser dealer for a loan but was abused and insulted. The traders demanded the farmer to clear the loan amount from last year before seeking frsh loan.

The dejected farmer committed suicide by consuming pesticide.

Mancha had grown a crop of Mirchi last year but was not able to good price for it and the second crop was lost as the seed was not genuine. The family members informed that Mancha was reeling under the debts which might have led him to take the extreme step.
