Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu here on Monday assured the representatives of teachers unions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh that the Presidential assent to the Common Service Rules (CSR) for teachers would be accorded at the earliest and there should be no apprehensions over the same.

The teachers unions leaders Rajasekhar, Shravan Kumar, Hanumantha Rao, Sudhakar, Bhmanna Suresh and Mahender Reddy met him on Monday.
Naidu told them that the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) had assured to clear the file at the earliest and send it to the Union Home Ministry.
The amended rules would help the teachers of both the Telugu States soon, he told them. The union leaders thanked Naidu for his contribution to their cause.
