Osmania University to shut down hostels to drive away non-boarders

In order to drive away the non-boarders who are no way connected with Osmania University, the administration has decided to shut down the hostels on campus during the vacations.

Sources from the University reveal that nearly 2000 students are illegally staying on the campus and are exploiting the mess facilities resulting in inflated mess charges of students and power bills.

While PG students vacate rooms after the completion of their course, the students who have double post graduations and PhD scholars don't vacate which would cause an issue to accommodate fresh students.

In order to create space for legitimate students, the University has taken the decision to expel non-boarders from the hostels.
