The Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to be present when NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind files his nomination papers on Friday.

While Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is already in Delhi, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be arriving today.

Earlier, when BJP announced Ram Nath Kovind as the candidate for the July 17 presidential election, both KCR's TRS party and Chandrababu's TDP party extended their support.

Chandrababu called Kovind as the best selection for the highest post whereas KCR too offered his support for the candidate.

Notably, TDP is a part of the ruling NDA. Besides Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire council of Union Ministers, Chief Ministers from the ruling NDA along with MPs and MLAs from across the country will be among proposers and seconders of his candidature.
