Rescue operations continue for girl stuck in borewell

Efforts are still on to rescue the 18-month-old girl, Veena, who accidentally fell into a 60-ft-deep bore well in a farm at Ikkareddygudem, in Hyderabad on Thursday evening.

She had fallen into the well while playing in the fields. The National Disaster Relief Forces (NDRF) teams have launched hectic rescue operation and are continuously using equipment and methods to get the girl out.

Three attempts failed last night and now, they are trying to pull her out with the help of robotic hand clips. The parents of the girl are patiently waiting for her to come out any moment.
