Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday hailed the successful launch of PSLV-C 38 by ISRO and wished that the scientific and technological advancements achieved in the recent past should continue. He also hailed the launch of Carto Sat 2 E, which will be useful in finding the underground waters and satellites of other countries.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday hailed the successful launch of PSLV-C 38 by ISRO and wished that the scientific and technological advancements achieved in the recent past should continue. He also hailed the launch of Carto Sat 2 E, which will be useful in finding the underground waters and satellites of other countries.

The Chief Minister also hailed Vaasala Narsaiah, a Metpally-based writer of Jagityal district for getting national award for children’s literature on the occasion. He said it was befitting for Narsaiah, who authored several books and hundreds of stories for children to get the prestigious award.

He hoped that Narsaiah would continue to pen stories for children, which would help them to imbibe good values in life. The Chief Minister expressed happiness over Mercy Margaret for getting the Kendra Sahitya Academy award for literature under the Youth category. He said Mercy’s poems, which reflected social issues won all-round appreciation.

He said Mercy, who was working in Women’s Degree College at Kacheguda should continue her writings and win many more such awards. Meanwhile, Governor of both the Telugu States ESL Narasimhan congratulated the scientists of ISRO on the successful launch of PSLV C-38 and placing of Cartosat-2 and another 30 nano satellites into orbit from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota.

The Governor said with the successful launch of PSLV C-38 and placing of 31 satellites into the orbit, the ISRO scientists had added another feather in their cap and made the country proud.
