Bhadrachalam: Former MLA Kunja Bhiksham, who went to Tirumala to get his grandson’s head tonsured and fulfill the family’s vows, has gone missing since Saturday night. He is reported missing while coming out of the temple after having darshan of Lord Balaji.

Even after 24 hours of the incident, he still remained untraced. He was elected to the State Legislative Assembly in 1989 and 1994. Later, he joined the TDP and later switched to the Congress. In 2004, he unsuccessfully contested on TRS ticket. He and his family members,

accompanied by relative Chanda Lingaiah, former MLA, and latter’s family went to Tirupati to have darshan of the deity. Apparently, while the family was coming out of the temple there ensued jostling when Kunja Biksham got separated from the rest of the family.

He remained untraced for a long time leading to his wife Kunja Venkataramana lodging a complaint with the police. A search to locate the former MLA is on. Apparently, the former MLA is not keeping up good health for some time.
