3-year-old boy accidentally falls into underground sump, drowns

A three-year-old boy drowned after falling into an underground sump at LB Nagar on Monday. The boy, Varshith residing at Gunti Jangaiah Nagar colony under LB Nagar police limits was playing outside the house when he accidentally fell into an underground.

His mother, Vani who was busy with household chores at the time, couldn't find him in the house and immediately informed her husband, Nagaraju. With the help of neighbours, they began searching for the child.
A neighbour who came to collect water from the sump found the boy's body floating on the water. While they rushed him to the hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.
