Nandeep, who completed his MBBS in China has been practising in a Hyderabad private hospital. The police informed that his friend from China had asked for help obtaining Opdivo injections made in Germany.

Having found them on Indiamart.com, he contacted a seller from JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited and was promised 20 injections, worth Rs 13.4 lakh. Nandeep was asked to pay Rs 4 lakh in advance and he deposited Rs 3.88 lakh through cash deposit machines.

He was told that the medicine would be delivered at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on June 5. But upon not receiving any delivery, he kept contacting the seller who switched off his mobile phone.

Having realized he had been defrauded, Nandeep lodged a complaint with the police who have registered a case and are trying to nab the fraudsters.
