Narayana Jr College students vandalise college in Hyderabad

Intermediate second year students of Narayana Junior College at Nizampet in Hyderabad allegedly vandalised the college premises on Tuesday night.

The students of second year MPC, who reside in the college hostel locked the staff in a room and damaged furniture, lights, geysers and overhead tanks in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to the reports, the students had demanded holidays and had arguments with the college authorities over the issue apart from complaints over the substandard food and parents being insulted when they visit the hostel.

The issue took a new turn when the students went on a rampage in the college last night as they locked the main gate damaged the furniture. When the police arrived, the students even pelted stones towards them for preventing them from entering the hostel building.
