Venkaiah Naidu offers 'pattu vastralu' to Goddess Mahankali on the occasion of Bonalu

Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday participated in the Bonalu celebrations organized at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.

Venkaiah Naidu even offered 'pattu vastralu' to Goddess Mahankali on the occasion and took part of the festival procession that was taken out from India Gate to Telangana Bhavan. Addressing the media, the Minister pointed out that it is the consecutive year of celebrating the Bonalu festival at Telangana Bhavan popularizing the culture and traditions of Telangana.

Highlighting the Telangana rituals and traditional values of the festival, Venkaiah Naidu stated that the National Capital, Delhi is home to people of all religions and regions.
