Mother upset with kids, brands them with hot iron
A mother tortured her own kids by brandishing them with iron rod red for consuming food. The incident came to light after an Anganwadi teacher Swapna witnessed the burnt marks on the kids\' faces and came to their rescue by contacting the childline number.

It is learnt that the children were being tortured for the last five days. According to the police, the victims identified as Maheen, Haji, Naushiya are daughters of labourers Sophia and Javed.
Last week on Sunday, Sophia had cooked food and left for work by locking her kids inside the house at Maniknagar locality in Tandur town.
However, on returning, she noticed that the kids consumed the entire food. Upset over this, she burnt an iron rod red and branded the kids with it on their faces. A complaint has been lodged with the police by the child protection and women welfare officials who rescued the kids.
