Woman and her boyfriend kill husband in Mahabubnagar
A woman and her boyfriend were arrested in Mahabubnagar district on Friday for allegedly murdering her husband.
A woman and her boyfriend were arrested in Mahabubnagar district on Friday for allegedly murdering her husband.
The woman, Lakshmi was married Kavali Anjaneyulu who made a living as an auto driver. But his alcohol addiction led to Lakshmi being tortured and beated repeatedly. She eventually developed a relation with Hanumanthu, who is working in the Army.
The duo planned to kill the husband and the officer on June 14 called Anjaneyulu on phone asking him to pick the former up in Hyderabad. While the duo headed to headed to their village, they halted at Farooqnagar and had some alcohol. Hanumanthu after noticing Anjaneyulu's drowsy state, thrashed and strangulated him. He later, fled the spot.
A case has been registered by the police and upon investigation, Lakshmi and Hanumanthu confessed to the crime who have been sent to remand.
