As many as 84 students of the social and tribal welfare residential hotels created a record in NEET-2017 by securing top ranks.
Among the 84 students, 55 students of the social and 9 tribal welfare institutions will secure seats in MBBS and 15 social and 5 tribal students will get into the BDS.
“It’s a glorious moment in the history of the TSWREIS and the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) and never did we get this kind of results before,” says Society Secretary RS Praveen Kumar.
“Operation Blue Crystal Programme (OPBC) was launched to provide free coaching for meritorious SC & ST and minority students who were aspiring to become doctors. It was a resounding success and it produced 140 medical students since its launch in 2015, truly a remarkable achievement,” he added.
