Man steals Rs 13 lakh in a bid to get married, arrested

A 20-year-old man was held on charges of theft at Tadbad in Hyderabad. The accused, Mohammed Yousuf Khan who works as a cook at a local restaurant was all set to get married but didn't have enough money to meet the expenses for the wedding.

Hence he had approached his boss for loan but on being refused, Khan stole all the cash and gold from the house of a local trader.

However, when Khan was escaping, the house owner woke up and tried to chase him. He, nevertheless managed to escape. The house owner lodged a complaint at the police station and the accused was traced. Rs 13 lakh was recovered from him.
