Gaddar seeks 30,000 salary to rural journalists
Noted balladeer Gaddar flayed the State government for ignoring the media persons who played crucial role in the separate State movement of Telangana. He demanded payment of Rs 30,000 a month towards salary for the mofussil journalists working in mandals.

He urged the government to discuss the issue in Assembly and in Parliament and implement it. He pointed out that the Press acts as a liaison between the ruling and the Opposition party.
Addressing the media at the R and B Guest House here on Thursday, he has said that there is no perceptible change in the people’s lives after the formation of separate State. He opined that development of the State is possible only with social Telangana.
Statehood to Telangana was granted, but the State formed was not the one desired by those who had sacrificed their lives. Therefore, he said, he would launch the movement, ``Jai Samajika Telangana” from his native place, Kistapur.
