Lawyer, his security guard booked for rape
A lawyer and his security guard were booked for allegedly raping a 43-year-old woman at Nagole here last month, police said today.
Hyderabad: A lawyer and his security guard were booked for allegedly raping a 43-year-old woman at Nagole here last month, police said today.
According to police, the incident had taken place on June 29 when the woman, a resident of Yousufguda, was taken to lawyer Prakash's house in Nagole by his security guard, identified as Krishna.
Krishna knew the woman and he took her to Prakash's house on the pretext of giving her a job of housemaid, Chaitanyapuri Police Station Inspector G Guru Raghavendra said.
"After reaching the lawyer's house, the victim was given cold drinks laced with sedatives and when she fell unconscious, she was raped by the duo," he said. Based on a complaint filed by the victim, a case was registered against the duo, he said. They are being questioned, police said.
