Talasani reviews arrangements for Bonalu festival
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stressed on better coordination among various departments to make elaborate arrangements for celebration of Bonalu festival.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stressed on better coordination among various departments to make elaborate arrangements for celebration of Bonalu festival.
Talasani, along with HMWSSB Managing Director Dana Kishore, inspected the works around Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad and other areas. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Telangana Government has been celebrating Bonalu festival by spending crores of rupees. He said that the Bonalu festival began in Golconda on June 25 and Mahakali Bonalu would be celebrated on July 9.
The minister said the R&B Department has erected barricades on 4-KM stretch near Mahankali Temple. Drinking water has been arranged at four places while 130 CC cameras have been installed by the police department for surveillance. He said 3-D Mapping and Para-medical teams would be deployed near City Light Hotel and an ambulance would be kept on stand-by.
