AshoorKhana encroached for cafeteria
Nizam’s Wakf committee has sealed the entrance to Qutub Shahi AshoorKhana at Mohammed Nagar in Golconda fort asthe land has been leased out to construct a cafeteria for tourists visiting the fort. The land was sealed without any prior notice to the caretaker Syed Javed, who is now restricted from entering the premises.

Even though various complaints have been submitted by the local residents to the Wakfboard, Archaeological Survey of India and Local area MLA and MP no action has been taken until now.
Most of the land which comes under utubSahiAshoorKhanais encroached and construction activities have already begun. Thousands of Devotees who visit the AshoorKhana from different parts of Telangana and other States requested the State government and local MLA and MP to resolve the issue at the earliest.
