Hyderabad: TDP Telangana unit Working President A Revanth Reddy on Saturday demanded the State government to speed up the process for the long pending recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI) posts in the Police Department.

In an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the TDP leader said the government issued notification to fill nearly 600 vacancies in February 2016.

The main examination was conducted in November but the results were not yet released. He wondered why the government was delaying the announcement of final results.

The aspirants are falling into depression due to the protracted delay, he said in the letter. Revanth demanded the government to explain the reasons for the delay in the recruitment process. He wanted to wind up the process in 14 days and give appointment orders to all the selected members immediately.

In the wake rumours that alleged irregularities took place in the selection process , the TDP leader also demanded KCR to clear all the doubts raised by the aspirants .
