Hyderabad: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) national President Manda Krishna Madiga on Monday alleged that he was facing a threat to his life by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to media persons in Warangal, Krishna Madiga condemned the AP Government for denying permission to hold a public meeting on the issue of categorisation of Scheduled Castes. Besides denying permission, he alleged that attempts were being made for his assassination. He said he was being followed by some unidentified persons in many unknown cars. He demanded Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to arrest people who are chasing him for unknown reasons.

Krishna Madiga said both TDP and TRS came to power in AP and Telangana on the promise that they would made effective representation with the Central Government on categorisation of SCs. However he said both the parties have cheated the SCs after coming to power. He said MRPS was active in 10 States. But the situation in Andhra Pradesh was extremely horrible, he alleged.
