At Balasamudram, Papaiahpet Chaman, Bhadrakali temple and other places, special prayers and harati were offered and free mass feedings were held at Sai Baba temples, who is venerated as ‘Sadguru’.

Warangal: Devotees in tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet have thronged Shirdi Sai Baba temples on the occasion of Guru Poornima on Sunday. At Balasamudram, Papaiahpet Chaman, Bhadrakali temple and other places, special prayers and harati were offered and free mass feedings were held at Sai Baba temples, who is venerated as ‘Sadguru’.

Guru Poornima was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Shiridi Sai Baba temple at Balasamudram in Hanamkonda, where thousands of devotees arrived at the temple early in the morning to offer prayers and attended Mahanyasapurvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam and ‘Aarti’.

The temple committee trustee Nimmala Srinivas offered ‘Haritha prasadam’ by presenting a Tulasi plant to KUDA Chairman M Yadava Reddy and other dignitaries, who attended special prayers at the temple.

A special programme was held at Gurudham at Mulug road, where noted spiritualist late K Sivananda Murthy breathed his last, who is fondly called as ‘Sadguru’ by his followers. His family members, followers and members of Sivananda Murthy Trust trustee T Gopichand and others attended the programme in large numbers.
