Chandrashekar Rao has promised to develop Karimnagar town on the lines of London City.Addressing a public meeting at Ambedkar Stadium after inaugurating the third phase of Haritha Haram programme near Maniar Dam on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said he fulfill all the promises that he makes with people. He reiterated that Karimnagar would be transformed into London City soon. He said this could not be achieved by an individual. Therefore, he sought the cooperation of all sections of the society to turn this dream into a reality.
KCR said Rs. 500 crore were sanctioned towards Maniar Tourism Project. He said all roads in Karimnagar are being modernised. He said efforts were also being made to develop Maniar River. He said Rs. 25 crore would be sanctioned for the construction of building of Karimnagar Kala Bharathi.
The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of Karimnagar to take active part in the Haritha Haram programme which was launched today. He said that the rising pollution could be controlled only increasing the green cover.
KCR also listed out various schemes being implemented by his government. He also slammed the Congress party and alleged that the main opposition party was unable to digest the pace of development in Telangana and have been trying to defame the TRS Government by leveling baseless allegations. He blamed the previous Congress regimes for all the prevailing ills in the society.
The programme was also attended by Ministers Etala Rajender and Jogu Ramanna, Government Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar, MP Vinod Kumar, MLAs G. Kamalakar, Lakshman Rao and R. Balakishan, District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed and other senior officials. (INN)
