Case registered against MLA Shankar Naik for misbehaving with Collector
Mahabubabad MLA Shankar Naik faced the wrath of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao over his misbehaviour with Collector Preethi Meena during their participation in the third phase of Haritha Haram programme at NTR Stadium in Mahabubabad.

The MLA had pushed the Collector away to walk fast while taking part in the programme. The police have filed a case against the MLA after the Collector informed about the incident to the Chief Secretary and also lodged a complaint with police.
KCR who took the issue seriously, gave a strict warning to the MLA instructing him to tender an unconditional apology to the Collector. The Chief Minister even warned Shankar Naik that he will be removed from the party if he fails to mend his ways.
Following which the Mahabubabad MLA tendered an apology to District Collector Preethi Meena.
