Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the Bonalu procession to be taken out on 16th and 17th July.
Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the Bonalu procession to be taken out on 16th and 17th July.
The minister, along with senior officials of various departments, visited Hari Bowli, Gowlilpura and Lal Darwaza and inspected the arrangements made so far. Speaking to media persons on the occasion, he said that the State Government has made elaborate arrangements for the procession by spending nearly Rs. 5.50 crore on 220 different works.
He said three Sanitation Teams are being deployed and a contingent of nearly 500 personnel would undertake cleaning operations. He said that uninterrupted supply of power and drinking water would be ensured during the two days of festival.
