Hyderabad: In an apparent suicide bid, three persons of a family consumed pesticide outside the Chief Minister's camp office in Somajiguda on Thursday.
Security personnel spotted them gulping pesticide and rushed them to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. According to the police, Nagaraju of Nalgonda reached city along with his daughter Navya, 13 and nephew Srinivas, 18 to meet CM KCR seeking financial assistance under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
However, the security personnel did not allow them inside the camp office saying the Chief Minister was not available. Depressed at this, the three gulped the pesticide. They are being treated at the hospital, police said.
